CELTIC finally unveiled their home kit for the upcoming season today.

The official reveal follows the teasing glimpse the club offered fans on Monday, but fans were made to wait until 10.30 on Friday for the official reveal after a flurry of activity on Celtic’s official channels, including Aaron Mooy’s retirement announcement and the SPFL’s release of next season’s fixtures.
However, the kit’s release wasn’t without its hiccups. Earlier this morning, it made a premature appearance on the website before the club’s official tweet went out.
The newly released kit, boasting a unique stained-glass effect on the iconic green hoops and black Adidas branding, has elicited a varied response from the fanbase. Some supporters appear less than enthusiastic, with the kit just not for them.

Opinions seem divided on the style variations. The short-sleeved version of the shirt is finding more favour among fans than its long-sleeved counterpart. There’s a general consensus that Adidas has attempted something innovative with the design, but whether it has paid off is debatable.

Jota, who typically graces kit launches, was noticeably absent from the promo after being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. However, you can see him donning the new kit in images within the Celtic store.
