Celtic Flop Priced at a Whopping €8million

JEREMY TOLJAN has been linked with a move away from Dortmund after failing to make the grade at the German club. The right-back spent the second half of last season on-loan to Celtic and didn’t do enough for the club to pursue a permanent deal.

He came in as competition for Mikael Lustig but the Swede kept his place in the team after initially losing out to Toljan.

The player went home at the end of the season and now BVB looks like they’re going to try and offload the defender to Italian side Sassuolo. However, according to Football Italia, the player will head out on loan to the Serie A side and Sassulo will have the option to buy the player at the end of the loan period for a whopping €8m.

Celtic fans will be perplexed by that figure but perhaps the defender will have a better stint at the Italian club and prove he is worth that amount of money.
