Goalkeeper Daugherty, full-back Barclais, and forward Harrison all featured in Celtic’s campaign and contributed. Their exits come as the Parkhead side prepare for a summer rebuild, with recruitment now expected to intensify.

This latest announcement adds to the list of high-profile departures already confirmed last month. Lucy Ashworth-Clifford, Murphy Agnew, Kit Loferski, Luana, Colette Cavanagh, Mathilde Carstens and Bruna all moved on in June.

Celtic thanked all three players for their efforts and commitment during their time at the club and wished them well in their next steps.

The Ghirls will start their season with a trip to the capital to face Hearts, looking to improve on last season’s disappointment, which left Celtic trophyless and no where near the title hunt.

Meanwhile, Stewart McGuire has been confirmed as the new Head of Women’s Football Operations. He arrives at a crucial time, with recruitment, development and structure all in need of immediate attention as Celtic look to bounce back strongly from last term’s setbacks.
