Celtic held their player of the year award ceremony on Sunday evening as the season comes to its conclusion.
It’s been another very successful campaign for Ange Postecoglou’s team who’ve already bagged a league and cup double with the prospect of a treble in June 3rd.

The bhoys were suited and booted for the occasion as we found out who were the big winners on the night.
So here’s your rundown of the nights events.
Ben Summers won academy player of the year, beating off some stiff competition for his teammates like Rocco Vata.

Matt O’Riley won Young Player of the Year. The Celtic star already a back to back SPFL champion in just 18 months .

Caitlin Hayes won a double on the night; winning both player of the year and players player of the year. A well deserved recognition for one of our top women!

Kyogo was the big winner of the night. We all knew he was getting the top goal scorer award, but he also bagged Player of the year and Players player of the year also. It’s been a standout season for the Japanese hero!

Jota won goal of the season for his incredible chip against the rangers during a 4-0 demolition in September.
Celtic legend Tom Boyd received a special recognition award for his work with the club. The former Hoops captain is an ambassador for Celtic and helps out with the foundation all year round.

The night went off well with everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoying themselves. While the league is wrapped up, the prospect of an 8th treble looms and the players know they can write their own piece of Celtic history if they can get it over the line.
