CELTIC have a game against Livingston this evening but there’s a little doubt over whether the game will go ahead.
Snowfall overnight in the area has the ALL WEATHER pitch covered at the moment and the home side is actively trying to clear things in preparation.
It’s not just getting the snow off but making sure the pitch isn’t waterlogged. We’ve recently seen the plastic pitch falling to the weather.
We have been told for years these pitches are cost-effective and prevent stuff like this happening.
Celtic are keeping a close eye on things and it will be down to the referee to check out the state of the pitch this afternoon.
Hopefully it goes ahead without too much bother. Celtic are playing one of their postponed ties this evening and a win would lower the massive deficit between second and first.
