Celtic Fans Seem Split Over Fresh Striker Interest

CELTIC FANS will always give you an honest opinion when it comes to all things about the club and the support is that vast and diverse you’re never going to get a general consensus.

The news today that former England and Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has laid his cards on the table with regards to a move to the Scottish Champions – fans seem split on whether signing the 31-year-old would be a good move for the club.

Moussa Dembele leaving in the final hours of the window when Brendan Rodgers was keen to retain the Frenchman’s services has left a massive hole in Celtic’s striking options. The club is short on strikers and could end up in a nightmare scenario if both Edouard and Griffiths come down with injuries.

Could Gabby be worth a short-term deal at Celtic Park in order to provide cover for the Celtic duo and perhaps play his way into a longer deal?

Some fans think it’s a no-brainer and others are probably harking back to the signing of Carlton Cole a few years back which was a complete waste of everybody’s time.
