We at Celts Are Here got news this morning that Boyata would start today against Hamilton Accies. It’s fair to say the reaction to his antics from ex-players and fans over the past few weeks won’t have him rushing to sign a new deal.
Most Celtic fans were happy to see him not pulling on the Hoops again. An injury rocked defence and a lack of any transfers might of forced Brendan Rodgers hand today.
Nevertheless, Celtic fans have had their say and Boyata should probably avoid Social Media for while.

It’s hard to see any way out of “Boyata Gate” that will please everyone apart from the club cashing in on the want away defender. Even a man of the match performance today won’t do much to turn the tide, the big problem is, he doesn’t want to turn the tide and wants away from Glasgow.
