THE Coronation of King Charles is next week, and it has sparked a heated debate over whether or not people should swear allegiance to the King.

On Monday’s Jeremy Vine show, the host highlighted the views of some Celtic fans during their Scottish Cup semi–final at Hampden.
The clip, from CeltsAreHere’s Twitter page, that was played on the show featured thousands of Hoops fans chanting “You can shove your coronation up your a***“.
The fan chant was met with laughter from the panellists, but it also showed that not everyone is in agreement on the matter.

The Coronation will take place on Saturday and people around the world will be invited to cry out and swear allegiance to the King. It’s pretty crazy, if you ask me.
The Premier League will be playing the English national anthem before their matches, but the SPFL will not be following suit, and clubs will decide what to do for themselves. Celtic travel to Tynecastle on Conoration weekend.
