A Celtic spokesperson has told SunSport they are now looking into events in the stands on Thursday night after fans were beaten with batons during the game.
The club have admitted their concern that a number of local Swedish fans managed to get tickets to the game and believe there is something at work here.
“We are aware that a number of Swedish supporters entered the area for visiting fans and we are currently investigating events.” The Celtic spokesperson said.
The Swedish police have been so far credited for the assault, but people in Sweden claim these aren’t actually police.

The footage clearly shows security hammering Celtic fans and instigating the violence on the night. Celtic will rightfully investigate this and take their case to UEFA.
