Celtic Fans Could Be Back in Stadium by August; First Minister Sets Out Plans

NICOLA STURGEON set out Scotland’s way out of this lockdown over the next few months and has claimed a decision is just weeks away on fans being allowed back in stadiums in time for next season.

The First Minister didn’t talk about specific numbers but what she did describe is the whole of Scotland getting to Level 1, and Level 0 by June.

This would mean spectator sports could be attended once again, albeit, not at maximum capacity, even level 0 has restrictions and is not quite like a full return to normality.

This will be welcome news for Celtic fans and the rest of Scottish football who have been locked out of the game for over a year. The heartening messages of coming out of this pandemic slowly but surely will be music to many peoples ears this afternoon.

All progress we can make between now and the start of next season is dependent on all of us continuing to follow strict rules and making sure we all do our bit so normality and football can return the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
