This afternoon, the Scottish Football Association have announced that Hampden has been given approval from the Scottish Government that should allow up to 25% capacity inside the stadium for the Euros games this summer.

Hampden Park will play host to four games in the tournament and there should be around 12,000 fans inside the ground for these games.

This feels like a massive step forward for Scottish Football, finally seeing plans being put in place that will see a large number of supporters return to watch games live.

With announcements such as this one, it provides some optimism that we could finally see a return for Celtic fans to Parkhead in the coming season.

Of course, it will take time before we see the return of stadiums being full but after so long without supporters, it will be a great sight to finally see.

At this stage, we must remain cautious and stick to the protocols that have been laid out by the Scottish Government to give the best chance to see this return as soon as possible.
