DAVID TANNER went on a World Cup rant after the Argentina game on Tuesday night which pictured an overly animated Diego Maradona going through all the emotions during the game.

When Argentina scored, putting them through to the last 16, Maradona celebrated with a two finger salute to the Nigeria fans.

The image went viral on social media but it didn’t impress former Sky Sports man and current BT presenter David Tanner who ranted the man had no class and it was sad to see such a person in football.

Tanner has a link on his bio to a night with Gazza. A former Ibrox star who courted more controversy than this during his career on and off the field.
