Celtic didn’t get the win they were looking for against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday evening. The bhoys were held to another draw by the Ukrainian club to end hopes of European football past Christmas.

The bhoys have earned a lot of kudos for the way they’ve played at times. They have gone toe to toe with their opponents but have come up desperately short in front of goal. Not to mention making some unforced errors at vital moments.

Celtic’s draw on Tuesday night was a frustrating watch. We could have won the game, but we also could’ve lost it. The Shakhtar miss in the second half was unbelievable.

UEFA prize money is already coming our way for making the group stages of the competition. As usual, there was the chance to top up our earnings with positive results.
