Brendan Rodgers has a wealth of young talent available to him at Celtic. The Irishman’s squad is full of players with high ceilings, two of the most prominent being Liel Abada and Matt O’Riley.
The pair were brought in for a joint fee of 5.8 million euros (Transfermarkt) and together, have went on to make a total of 173 appearances for the Hoops, registering a combined 72 goal contributions in the process. Abada and O’Riley have caught the attention of some big clubs recently which is no surprise going by a recent statistical list that was revealed.

According to football research page @CIES_Football on Twitter, Abada had the most key passes per 90 minutes of all under 23 players in non-big-five-league top divisions with 1.4. O’Riley was also on the list, coming sixth with 1.13. These findings are hugely impressive and testament to the talents of Abada and O’Riley.
The duo are key contributors for Celtic and them being leaders in statistics like the above mentioned will only drive up interest in them. Nevertheless, both players seem happy in Glasgow for now and under Brendan Rodgers, will be eager to come to the fore.
