Celtic young due, Stephen Welsh and Ben Wylie were on opposite sides as Scotland and Northern Ireland faced off against one another this afternoon.
For the second time, within three days, the two nations played at Dumbarton’s stadium.
On Wednesday, it was Northern Ireland who came out on top as 2-1 winners. Only Welsh featured in that one.
However, today both Welsh and Wylie faced off as Scotland came out 3-2 winners, with the latter grabbing one of the Northern Irish side’s goals.

Welsh is, of course, more of a household name in the Celtic support, having made himself into a first-team regular at the end of last season.
But Ben Wylie is probably more of an unknown quantity. The 18-year old has spent the last campaign on loan with Ballymena United, playing 17 times in the Northern Irish League.
As a reward for his performances, the youngster made his debut this afternoon for the under-21s side and even managed to score his first goal in doing so, having featured several times at other youth levels for Northern Ireland.
