Celtic Draw Another Away Tie in League Cup Quarter-Final

Celtic safely booked their place in the quarter-final of the League Cup by beating Ross County 4-1 in Dingwall.

Ange Postecoglou made NINE changes to the team that scored nine goals at the weekend against Dundee Utd and the team never skipped a beat. They bhoys were 2-0 up and cruising in the first half, and bar a short scare when County pulled one back, the bhoys were in control and scored another two in the second half to finish 4-1 on the night.

The draw was made immediate after the game between the two SPFL sides and Celtic now know they will face Motherwell at Fir Park.

The bhoys won the competition last season in what was Ange’s first silverware in Scotland. It propelled the Hoops to the SPFL League title, giving the bhoys the confidence and belief they could win the title back at the first time of asking.

The game will take place on the dates between 18-20th to October.
