Celtic Don’t Even Bother Announcing Latest Parkhead Departure

Celtic got another player off the books last wedo but they club didn’t even bother to make an announcement.

Most exits are met with a, ‘we wish them luck’ sort of correspondence on the Celtic website. However, in the case of Kundai Benyu, they’ve not been forthcoming.

There could still be an announcement by the end of play tomorrow but the deal has been done and the midfielder ended his dismal spell at Celtic by joining Wealdstone FC. The club currently play in the English national league.

Benyu was brought in by Brendan Rodgers who was marking him as one for the future. However, the Irishman prevented the player from moving out on loan as planned because he seen something in Kundai to keep him around. That soon fell flat and Rodgers wrote off the young midfielder.

A loan move to Helsingborgs didn’t amount to much and he even spent time being managed by Celtic legend Henrik Larsson.

We wish him all the best.
