Celtic have today released a statement to all season ticket holders letting them know that no money will be taken until June 30th if you’re on the auto-renewal scheme and the deadline to renew manually is also June 30th.

Supporters have been worried about losing their seat and are unable to afford their season card at present with many taking a large financial hit.

The club had already extended the season ticket renewal process once but after so much feedback and uncertainty around next season – it’s only right the club push it back again.

There’s no end in sight to this current crisis and at this point, if football does return it might be without supporters inside the stadium.

Everything is up in the air and a further extension can’t be ruled out until we have firm plans and a jumping-off point for Scottish football.

The club have thanked the thousands of supporters who have already renewed even with the uncertainty surrounding football.

Hopefully, there will be a time in the not too distant future where we can all get back to games and enjoy the beautiful game.
