Celtic defender Stephen Welsh has suffered an injury setback after the trip to Portugal.
Ange Postecoglou was talking to the media this afternoon ahead of the Hoops visit to Pittodrie and gave the update.
Welsh joins James McCarthy as the only other player who is currently out due to an injury with McCarthy having pulled his hamstring before the break.
“Stephen Welsh picked up a little sort of a niggle on the last day of camp in Portugal so he’ll miss a couple of weeks,” said Ange speaking to Celts Are Here.
The 22-year-old has featured for the Scottish champions only six times this season with him only really getting gametime due to any injuries.
In the only encounter between Celtic and Aberdeen this season, it was the academy graduate who got on the scoresheet on the opening day of the season.
His last appearance under Ange Postecoglou came in the dramatic away victory to St Johnstone with him having been out the squad for a number of weeks.

The team have plenty of cover in defence having been boosted by the return of Carl Starfelt who will now hope to put his injury worries behind him.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is also available for selection along with Moritz Jenz who has played featured a lot since joining the Hoops during the summer.
New signing Yuki Kobayashi will not be available for selection until the beginning of January having made the switch to Scotland from Japan.
