Celtic Defender Signs Three-Year Deal with Championship Club

Celtic have parted ways with Robbie Deas after ten years at the club.

Deas started with the youth academy at the age of 10 but has failed to make the breakthrough into the first team. It was announced by Inverness this afternoon that they had signed Robbie on a three-year deal.

Celtic have let a lot of fringe players go through the summer. Two major first team casualties in Jozo Simunovic and Jonny Hayes took many by surprise but other fringe reserve players have also fallen by the wayside.

Deas goes with the club’s best wishes as he looks to get ICT back into the premier league. First team football will do the 20-year-old the world of good.

There has been much more outs than ins at Celtic Park. The two bits of business the club has done over the summer appear to be solid signings in Moi Elyounoussi and Vasilis Barkas. The club is expecting to sign a few more players in the coming weeks and with the window not closing until early October, there’s plenty of time for new arrivals.
