Celtic have cut the gap again at the top of the SPFL to just two points. Before the international break, Celtic were six points behind with murmurings we’d already lost our grip on the title race.
Fast forward to the end of October and we’re just two points behind and it really should be one had it not been for a ludicrous decision at Ibrox to award the home side a penalty.
It’s a running joke in Scottish football, just when it looks like the side from Ibrox is in real trouble, a major decision goes in their favour.
In this instance, we have a player trying to diving header a ball who then somehow wins a penalty for doing so. John Beaton pointing to the spot.
And there we have it… @paddypower the penalty for rangers. pic.twitter.com/74Pbpf51ZV

Celtic made light work of Hibernian at Easter Road, 3 up within the first half an hour and strolling. We conceded one back but after that, apart from one top Joe Hart save, we were great value for our win. No helping hand needed to cling onto points.
Celtic are closing in on top of the table, bit by bit.
