Celtic have completed a loan deal for Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp, with the versatile 32-year-old joining until the summer.

Schlupp is currently undergoing his medical before signing his contract, with Celtic agreeing to cover a significant portion of his wages to get the deal over the line, Scott Burns of RecordSport reports.
The former Leicester City man was keen on a move to Parkhead for the opportunity to compete for silverware and experience Champions League football. With Celtic set to take on Bayern Munich, Schlupp will add experience and depth to Brendan Rodgers’ squad.
Schlupp’s ability to play left-back, left-wing, or central midfield makes him a valuable option for Rodgers, especially with Adam Montgomery set to leave on loan and Kieran Tierney not arriving until the summer.
Celtic will now look to turn their attention to a striker. It’s disappointing that there are no real links to a forward with two and a half hours to go in the window.
Kyogo left two weeks ago, and the club had known about it for a few months.
Celtic will now be scrambling about last minute to try and strike a deal, but with who remains unclear.
You have to admit, it’s been a disappointing window.
