Celtic are continuing their pursuit of Argentine left-back Alexandro Bernabei, it has been reported.
The Hoops are on the look out for a left-back who can give Greg Taylor a run for his money next season and are currently looking at all their options.
Alexandro’s name has constantly come up in the past few weeks in relation to a Celtic move, and rumours have even suggested Celtic made an official bid for the player.

The defender’s current club, Lanus are holding their ground and reportedly want £4m for one of their top young stars.
The 21-year-old has been left out of a number of games for the club in recent times as speculation surrounding his future continues. There has been no reports of Alexandro picking up an injury – could his current club be making sure he doesn’t get injured ahead of a lucrative move to Europe?
Anthony Joesph of Sky Sports has confirmed the Hoops are still in hot pursuit and haven’t given up hope of landing the defender.
Unlike many previous seasons, Celtic aren’t in too big a hurry yet to force deals through. They have the luxury of a full pre-season before kicking off in the final day of July. Obviously, the sooner new players come in, the better, but there’s still plenty of time.
