CELTIC support liaison officer John Paul has confirmed a contingency plan if the weather stops Celtic’s Scottish Cup fixture going ahead on Sunday.
The bhoys are scheduled to play Clyde on Sunday afternoon but weather warnings sent out by the MET Office have suggested severe disruption between Saturday and Sunday due to high winds.
If the storm becomes too severe, Celtic vs Clyde could be postponed. It’s not just about the pitch and playing conditions but the safety of the travelling supporters will also be taken into account.
JP has confirmed, should the game not go ahead the date for it to be played has already been set and would mean the SPFL tie against Hearts would be postponed.

Celtic are looking to win the Scottish Cup for the fourth year running. The bhoys have been in good form and hopefully, the game can go ahead on Sunday and prevent any need for it to be rescheduled. Celtic will be in Europa League action nearer the end of the month so the less fixtures bunched together – the better.
