Earlier today we notified supporters who have attended a home game lately and bought items from the kiosk – may have been double charged by the club.
When we put the word out on social media, so many Celtic supporters got back to us. Many confirming they had been charged twice for their transactions and wouldn’t have noticed unless we had pointed it out.

We let the club know about the situation. At first – they were putting it down to an error with peoples banks, but after it was clear this was widespread over multiple different banks – there was an error at Celtic’s end.
John Paul Taylor confirmed Celtic are working on this and anyone who has been double charged will be automatically refunded.
It’s a strange one, and given the small amounts leaving the bank – many will likely still not know they’ve been double charged.
The next home game is against Ross county when we hope the error causing the glitch will be fixed.
Post-pandemic, Celtic have gone completely cashless and only take card payments.
