Celtic have announced the kickoff details for their Premier Sports Cup match against Hibernian, scheduled for Sunday, August 18th at 3 PM.

The match, which will be broadcast live on Premier Sports, marks a critical moment for Celtic as they aim to reclaim the League Cup title.

Following the match, the draw for the quarter-finals will take place, setting the stage for the matches to be held over the weekend of September 21st and 22nd.
This cup competition holds particular significance for Celtic this year, as they look to recover from last season’s unexpected early exit at the hands of Kilmarnock. That defeat marked the first cup loss for manager Brendan Rodgers across his two tenures at the club while breaking a streak of success that saw the hoops lift two League Cup titles under former manager Ange Postecoglou.
The scheduling does mean another Sunday match for Celtic, who won’t play a Saturday fixture until mid-September.
