SHANE DUFFY is set to complete a season-long loan move to Celtic this week it has emerged.
According to MailSport and their in the know chief reporter Stephen McGowan, the Scottish Champions are close to wrapping up a deal to bring the Irishman to Glasgow for their ten in a row tilt.

Celtic have been chasing Duffy’s signature for the past month. West Ham have also been in the mix to snatch up the defender from Brighton.
Duffy is a Celtic fan, and you have to imagine that’s driving his thinking.
If the deal does get over the line, it could allow Neil Lennon to ply 3-5-2 pretty comfortably without playing some out of position.

There’s also a chance Kristoffer Ajer moves on from Parkhead this summer and Duffy would be the man go slot right into the team under those circumstances.
It’s now the international break but if these reports are accurate – Shane could be in the squad when Celtic return to action in September.
