CELTIC’S sixth goal in Saturday’s match has received the attention of the SPFL media team.
The strike from Matt O’Riley was superb, the way he finds the extra yard of space before smashing it into the top corner is quality, but the build-up was also eye-watering. Starting deep into Celtic’s half, the team had 106 touches of the ball before it rippled the back of the net.

The passing play was unbelievable. Retaining the ball for the amount of time is hard, but the team made it look easy. The players were constantly moving, looking for a pass, making it hard for the Saints’ players to get close to them.
As already mentioned, the finish was top-class. It will undoubtedly be in Ange’s mind leading up to the derby at Hampden. Postecoglou must choose between Tom Rogic, who scored last time out against The Rangers, or Matt O’Riley, who has been incredible since he arrived at Celtic.
