Celtic Chief Executive Delivers January Transfer Pledge

Acting Chief Executive Michael Nicholson was asked on the Celtic AGM introductory video about Celtic’s plans for January.

Nicholson confirmed the club will look to do business and help support Ange rebuild this team.

January will mark phase 2 of this rebuild and bringing in players who can again make a real impact like some of our summer signings.

Asked directly by Gerry McCulloch what the plans are, it was vague but at least it was encouraging.

“We want to support Ange and the team to give us the best chance of success’. Nicholson told shareholders.

‘We’re working on options for January, we’re looking to strengthen the squad as much as we can and Celtic media will be the first to hear about it’

The club are in a good position. Right now, coming out of the final international break of the year, the bhoys are just four points off the top of the league with a semi-final to look forward to as well as European football beyond Christmas.

There’s room to be positive, in no small part down to Ange Postecoglou who has galvanised the Celtic support.

We hope he gets backed to the fullest in the winter window and Celtic can really turn the screw next year.
