Contrary to what Joey Barton is saying now Celtic supremo Peter Lawwell set the record straight on any dialogue Celtic had with an agent over Joey Barton. If The Rangers fans were finding it hard to love Joey already this may break their spirit completely.

We all know Joey is playing a blinder with the release of his new book, he got the attention he craved and needed at the expense of The Rangers and has been hanging onto Celtic’s coattails for some time.

Speaking to STV Sport, Peter Lawwell put end to the claim that Celtic wanted Joey Barton once they heard of Rangers interest him by simply stating the following.
