The Official Celtic Website had a nightmare last night as it posted a ‘Celtic Statement’ just after midnight, alarming fans that there was news on a potential Kieran Tierney bid.

With fans on edge, the statement dropped but much to their relief it had been a glitch!

The statement which was posted onto newsnow.co.uk was a repeat of the David Turnbull statement which went into detail why Celtic weren’t signing the midfielder.

As glitches go, happening just after midnight during a busy period of the transfer window is enough to send even the more placid fan out there into a spiral.

Celtic fans know Arsenal are still keen on their star player and are holding their breath it comes to nothing this season. Celtic have kicked out two bids for the defender and have told Arsenal the price they need to pay if they want Kieran, they have yet to meet that valuation.
