It was a day where it was 99% positive for the Hoops. The one thing to pick over if we want to be pedantic is it’s now been eight matches since Celtic kept a clean sheet, with the last one coming against The Rangers in September.
The main thing is the three points, but I’m sure Ange would like to see a clean sheet before the World Cup break kicks in.
It was a poor goal to concede against Hibs, with the side tearing through Celtic to then beat Joe Hart at his near post. However, Celtic responded well and continued scoring down the other end. Hibs fans hadn’t gotten back in their seats before the three goal margin had been restored.
It’s another big win for Celtic, with the large winning margin boosting Celtic’s goal difference even further.
The pressure is on The Rangers on Sunday, who travel to Motherwell for a lunchtime kick off. Celtic have opened up a five-point lead, with the Ibrox side looking to return the gap to two points with a win.
