Celtic Branded ‘Dazed and Confused’: Statement Aftermath

CELTIC’S social media team caused a stir on Tuesday evening when they dropped a post to let everyone know they wanted to be left well alone from the fight between their rivals and the government.

Celtic had been mentioned in a letter from the club in Govan to the Government as they continue their spat and deal with the aftermath of their law breaking fans.

The Hoops account simply let everyone know they were not being lumped in with this lot and did it in a jovial way, hence the emoji. However, you can’t really do things in Scottish football in a jovial way without people becoming extremely angry.

The tweet certainly rattled a few cages and we would agree it was out of character for the club to take any stance.

But, when 99.9% of posts are fine, we can allow for that small window that was opened on Tuesday evening.

One man who wasn’t impressed was Roger Mitchell, a Celtic fan and former SPL Chief.

Mitchell believes the club is lost from top to bottom and made that clear underneath Celtic’s tweet.
