The transfer window may not officially open until June 11th but that isn’t stopping some clubs from drawing up their wish list for the summer.
Celtic have two more games to play before the end of the season then the hard work really begins with a new manager to be named and a squad which needs to be freshened up.
To bring new players in, there will have to be a number of casualties to make space in the team with the squad already bloated.
With that in mind, it appears FC Porto have not given up on their pursuit of Olivier Ntcham according to SunSport. – a player they have been chasing since the last summer window.
Celtic offered Ntcham a new and improved deal back in September time after the club turned down a £14m bid for the Frenchman’s services. A year on, the Portuguese side are still interested but the report claims for significantly less than £14m.
Will Celtic play ball in order to raise vital funds for the new manager to bring in his own players or will the board see Ntcham as a pivotal player going forward?
