Celtic have reportedly bid for Icelandic striker Holmbert Aron Fridjonsson.
The 20 year old spent time with Celtic earlier this month when he was on trial at Lennoxtown.
It looks like the player has impressed Neil Lennon and his coaches with a formal bid being tabled for the 6ft 3″ Icelandic under 21.
The Fee is believed to be in the region of £150,000.
Fridjonsson has a decent scoring record scoring 12 goals in 23 games for current side Fram last term but at such a young age he will no doubt have to be worked on and would not be an instant answer to Celtic’s current striking problems.
If a deal can be done the player could make the switch to Celtic Park in January.
