After winning the first encounter of the season at Parkhead 5-2, the Hoops followed the victory with a 3-1 win in the Glasgow Cup.
Heading into this match, the narrative was about how it’s at Ibrox and it will be a different team they face. However, Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea’s side have shown up and strolled the game, again.
The side was aided by the two red cards The Rangers got, with the keeper given his marching orders in the first half.
A brace from ben Quinn was followed by an Adam Brooks goal, giving Celtic the lead after going behind early on. There was then a further red card showing to The Rangers during the final moments of the game, with the side finishing the match with eight players.
The discipline issues are out of character for the side…
The young hoops pushed for their fourth goal of the afternoon and even struck the post.
It was a good day for Celtic, with the men, women and B side all enjoying a win.
