Celtic Away Support Handed Blow Ahead Of Sunday

Last night, all the focus of the Celtic support went into the game at Parkhead against Hearts – which saw the Hoops come out 1-0 winners with a goal from Kyogo Furuhashi.

However, ahead of Thursday nights match, there was an announcement from Dundee United, which will affect some of the Celtic support going into Sunday’s fixture between the two sides.

In a statement released at around 6:20 last night, the Tannadice side announced that they would be closing the Jerry Kerr stand due to damage from Storm Arwen – a stand that was set to hold many of the Celtic support.

Of course, at the beginning of the week, fans would have been fearing the worst with reports coming out that there was a chance that the game might be postponed.

But, thankfully, it looks to be still going ahead at this stage, with last-minute works being complete on the stadium.

Some of the travelling Celtic support will now, unfortunately, be missing out, though, with refunds for their tickets to be handed back in due course.

The most important thing going into Sunday, though, is that Ange and his side pick up another crucial three points, which will make things a little bit better for those missing out on the away trip to Dundee.
