Since the inception of the Scottish Premiership in 2013, Celtic’s relentless firepower in front of goal has played a major part in their domestic dominance, with only one league title escaping them in that time.
Data released by PFA Scotland highlights how significantly the Hoops’ top scorers have outperformed those from across the city.

It’s a clear factor in the club’s sustained success at the summit of the Scottish game.
Among the Premiership’s all-time leading marksmen, Celtic have four players inside the top ten, twice as many as Rangers.
Since the Scottish Premiership was established in 2013, these players have grabbed the most league goals.

Leigh Griffiths leads the overall list with 92 goals, though 89 of those were netted during his time in the Hoops. Even without his stint at Dundee, Griffiths would still sit top of the pile thanks to his prolific spell in green and white.

Kyogo, despite only arriving in 2021, sits seventh with 63 goals to his name. James Forrest, who continues to add to his remarkable longevity at the club, shares ninth place on the list with 59 league strikes.
By contrast, Rangers have only managed to place two players inside the all-time top ten scorers since the Premiership was restructured, underlining a key difference between the sides during the past decade of title races.
