SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY will charge their supporters £5 per stream later on this afternoon to watch the pre-season friendly between themselves and Celtic.
One Wednesday fan has taken to social media to vent their frustrations at the game being put behind a paywall. However, non-Celtic season ticket holders will be hit with a much bigger charge.
£5 quid to watch a friendly really? How about free for all the long suffering Wednesday fans eh? #swfc

Celtic have decided to make this game available to every season ticket holder for dare I say, added value. It means for the majority who want to watch should be able to do so without further cost.
For non-season ticket holders, they can pay to watch the game on CelticTV. The club only appear to have an £80 year pass subscription available at the moment with no option for a monthly pass. If you’re just looking to gain access to the friendlies this season and nothing else then it’s a ridiculous expense.
You might find yourself wandering over to the Sheffield Wednesday site to watch the game for a fiver!
CelticTV is only really useful to overseas Celts who can get live games streamed to their computer throughout the season.
The game will take place at 3pm on Wednesday afternoon.
