CELTIC signed a multimillion-pound five-year deal with Adidas back in March, the worldwide brand and kit supplier have been busy this season procuring new clubs with Celtic leading the way.
There have been eight switches over to Adidas so far for next season with Celtic one of the top clubs among them.
Adidas:
✅ Celtic
✅ Boca Juniors
✅ Inter de Porto Alegre
✅ Cruzeiro
✅ Bordeaux
✅ Lokomotiv Moscow
✅ Leeds
✅ Union Berlin
Adidas and Celtic haven’t done business until now, there’s a genuine excitement among the support that we could be in line for some special kits which will become collector items with the passing of time.
Right now, we’re yet to see what they have in store for Celtic’s first three designs. Three kits a season over the next five years means the sporting brand will have plenty of opportunities to hit the right spot with supporters. Over and above that, cross over with trainers and training gear could be very lucrative.
The biggest losers in the kit deals thus far has to be the outgoing New Balance. The American based company has lost both Celtic and Liverpool but hasn’t added any new clubs to their portfolio at the moment according to FootyHeadlines.com.
