CELTIC have an agreement in principle now with Dutch side Venlo for the transfer of Georgios Giakoumakis.
A Greek journalist very close to this story has confirmed the two clubs have thrashed out a deal for the transfer of the striker.
However, it’s not a done deal YET!

Giannis Chorianopoulos has claimed there is a €150k per year disparity between what Celtic want to pay the Giakoumakis in wages and what the player is looking for.
Talks ongoing between Celtic and Giakoumakis. There is a gap of €150k per year between Greece international striker demands and Celtic 's offer. Agreement in principle with Venlo for almost €3m. @CelticFC #CelticFC #Celtic #Giakoumakis

Celtic have been keen to bring the player in and it’s likely Ange Postecoglou has been a driving force to get a deal done.
The striker is trying to get the very best deal he can for himself and you can’t fault anyone for playing hardball.
Can an agreement be reached? Of course it could but it depends how stubborn both sides are – there will need to be concessions made by Celtic and the player to get this deal over the line.
The bhoys look like they want the striker in regardless if they sell any of their current strikers before the end of the window on Tuesday.
