At today’s AGM, a member of the Celtic Trust raised the possibility of the club establishing a Fan Advisory Board to enhance supporter engagement.

The proposal was met with a positive response from the club’s leadership, who acknowledged the importance of improving communication with fans.
CEO Michael Nicholson agreed that stronger supporter engagement is a shared goal and suggested that a Fan Advisory Board could play a role in achieving it. While he has yet to review the results of the recent Fan Survey, Nicholson expressed openness to discussing the proposal further.
Chairman Peter Lawwell echoed Nicholson’s sentiments, stating that the idea is not something the club can overlook.
While no formal commitment was made during the AGM, Lawwell assured shareholders that discussions on the matter would continue, signalling a willingness to explore the concept further.
It does seem like a Fan Advisory Board could be on the cards for Celtic, given the responses from the top table.
It would be something beneficial and something that the Celtic Trust have been pushing for for some time now.
The answers did seem positive, and after Nicholson has gone through the fan survey, which he should’ve by now, it will be interesting to see the results.
