‘Can’t Continue’, ‘Join Ntcham’ – Many Fans Seen Enough of Celtic Star

CELTIC won 4-2 in the end up, but unforgiving Celtic fans think the club should be more comfortable going into next weeks second leg, had it not been for some sketchy defending.

After the Midtjylland sending off, so many supporters believed Nir Bitton should have been kept out of the side. He immediately came back in against Hearts and then again in the Czech Republic on Thursday and he was far from impressive.

Some fans believe Ange might have a soft sport for the player already, others believe if the manager continues to play the Israeli then the Australian can’t be immune to criticism if we drop more points while Nir is on the park.

It’s not ideal but season after season we see Celtic rely on a midfielder turned defender to try and get them to the group stage of a European competition. It’s not all Nir’s fault but he doesn’t seem equipped to deal with big games – even against smaller sets of opposition.

These fans had their say.

Celtic outscored their opponents but we have to find a remedy to our back line woes. We can’t score four goals ever game.
