CAMERON Carter-Vickers has said he’s happy at Celtic amidst contract talks and suggestions of a Premier League return.

The American has been on international duty and has come off the bench in both of the US’ games against Germany and Ghana.
He arrived at Celtic on a season long-loan in 2021, but the club took up the option to buy him in the following summer. He’s been a rock at the back and has been the first name on the team sheet.
The 25-year-old struggled at the back end of last season with injury, which carried over into this season. But, after returning to action before the international break, and playing throughout it, he is getting back to full fitness, ahead of a busy time for Celtic, which will see them compete in the league and the Champions League.
Speaking to Sporting News, CCV was asked about a return to the Premier League and if he’d like to give it another shot, and failing to make it at Spurs, in response, he said, “If it comes, it comes, great, but if it doesn’t, I’m happy where I’m at now.”
He’s made it clear that he’s happy in Glasgow, speaking about how he relished the pressure of playing with a club like Celtic.
Hopefully, the club can tie him down to a new deal in the coming months.
