Despite some Celtic players reporting back to Lennoxtown yesterday for pre-season, a few remain away on international duty with their nations.
Indeed, over in the States, Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers are turning out for Canada and the USA respectively in the Copa America.

The right-back recently gave a scathing assessment of the officials at the tournament after Peru’s Marcos Lopez wasn’t sent off for headbutting him, while Carter-Vickers made his bow in this year’s Copa overnight.
He came on at half-time in the USA’s eventual 2-1 defeat to Panama. Both sides ended the game with ten men, and perhaps Carter-Vickers was fortunate not to give away a penalty for his side after a VAR review.
A disappointing evening for Gregg Berhalter’s side, the USA now need a result against Uruguay on Tuesday or else they could be staring at group-stage elimination.
The national team is under pressure after the recent loss, and Berhalter has to get it right or else Carter-Vickers will be back at Celtic somewhat sooner than expected.
