CCV’s Prefect Response to Nine Point Gap Question

CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS claims that the gap isn’t that big and that he and his fellow teammates can’t afford to take their foot off the gas.

Celtic has a nine-point lead at the top of the SPFL, with a significant goal difference advantage over their rivals in second place. Beale has already conceded that it’s very unlikely that his side will make a comeback in the league, turning his attention to the cups.

The American defender isn’t getting carried away with things, remaining composed and humble as Celtic leads the league.

Speaking to Celtic TV, Cameron Carter-Vickers said:

“It’s not really [hard to get carried away]. We’re focusing on our performances and trying to play as well as we can.

“From my point of view, I don’t think nine points is a big gap, it can change quickly, and we’re fully aware of that.

“We need to keep performing well and winning games and see where that takes us.”

CCV has been an integral part of the side as Celtic look to retain their title. So often has he stepped up to the plate and put in some big performances, keeping teams at bay.

His partnership with Carl Starfelt at the back is second to none, with the pair still to lose a league match while starting together.
