CELTIC dug deep to get the win at Pittodrie on Saturday afternoon, with Callum McGregor’s 87th-minute strike separating the sides.

Celtic registering over 400 passes in the final third tells its own story. Aberdeen just camped in their own box and tried to limit Celtic’s chances, and for the most part, it worked. But Celtic always find a way, as they’ve shown many times this season; there was always a belief that there would be one more chance.
The players felt the same, with Callum McGregor praising the players’ character after what he described as an ‘outstanding performance’.
Callum McGregor said: [Live on Sky Sports]
“Brilliant. You can’t dream of a better scenario than to come back into the team and score the winner.
“I thought we were outstanding to be honest. We dominated the game, played our football and created a lot of chances. To go all the way to the end again and get the winner, it tells you everything you need to know about that changing room in terms of character and spirit”
The dressing room is full of belief, with the players always pushing no matter what the time on the clock says.
You can point to any match this season and pick an example of the team showing some great character. Whether they’re coming from behind or remaining patient, the players keep their calm.
