Steve Clarke announced his Scotland squad for the upcoming international break on Monday morning, and only one Celtic player was included.
Captain Callum McGregor was the only bhoy to have made the cut.
At least in recent years, we are used to seeing several Hoops players in Scotland squads. In times gone by, almost half of the dark blues lineup were Celts.
Times have changed drastically, though, and this time around, there were not even any call-ups for the likes of David Turnbull, Greg Taylor or Anthony Ralston. For Celtic, that is slightly disappointing, although it is a testament to the quality that makes up the national team and how much it is improving year-on-year.

At least McGregor is still being included, although that is in no way a surprise. The captain of the champions has been nothing but reliable for club and country throughout his career, and over the next few weeks, he will be aiming to play his part in a crucial Euro qualifier away at Cyrpus and cosmic clash with England at Hampden.
