McGregor, 31, has not only led by example in midfield but has also contributed significantly on the scoreboard, netting goals against Hibernian, St Mirren, and Rangers – all of which have been belters.
His leadership and consistency have been instrumental in Celtic’s early dominance in the league, where they sit atop the table, tied on points but leading on goal difference over Aberdeen. They sit five points clear of their rivals, Rangers.
His retirement from international football has meant that he’s been able to sit with his feet up over the past week or so, something he’s rarely had the chance to do for years.
The award comes as a testament to McGregor’s influence and form as Celtic prepare to host Heart of Midlothian at Parkhead. With the team looking to extend their winning streak, McGregor’s role will be crucial in maintaining their momentum in the Scottish Premiership.
Congratulations to Callum McGregor on a well-deserved accolade as he continues to excel for Celtic in what promises to be an exciting season.
