ANGE Postecoglou is said to be on the shortlist for the Chelsea job, after Graham Potter was sacked a few weeks ago.

It‘s no surprise that Ange Postecoglou is being linked with a move to the English Premier League, with his remarkable impact on Celtic over the last two seasons speaking for itself.

Reports have the Australian in the running for the Chelsea job, and other big names such as Mauricio Pochettino, Vincent Kompany, Julian Nagelsmann, and Luis Enrique are all believed to be in contention.

Callum McGregor‘s desperate for him to stay in Glasgow‘s east end and lead the Hoops to a historic treble this season, admitting the coach has been “fantastic” for the hoops since he arrived in Scotland last summer.

McGregor said: [Daily Record]

“He’s been fantastic here, he’s had a really good tenure and we want to keep him. His work is outstanding and he’s a good person as well. That’s the type of people you want to work with and we would be delighted to keep him.

“His work speaks for itself. That’s going to get people talking but I think his full focus is on the job at hand. If we can keep him we will be delighted.”

Ange has too much to achieve, and prove, in Scotland, before he considered a move down south, I just don’t see him jumping ship this season, or next.
